Crown Foundation presented Great Ormond Street Hospital with a cheque to purchase crucial life saving equipment at its annual Foundation celebration event at the Audi International Polo event.
The money, raised through Crown Partnership’s charitable activities over the course of the year, will fund five respiratory humidifiers which help to prevent infections and lung tissue damage for patients who require assisted breathing equipment.
The donation was presented by Deirdre Morgan, trustee of Crown Foundation, at Crown Foundation’s annual celebration day at Audi International Polo at the Guards Polo Club.
Russell Morgan, founder of Crown Partnership, said: “After another year of fantastic charitable activity by the Group, we wanted to purchase this equipment for Great Ormond Street Hospital to help them with their incredible work with children.
Christina Panayiotou, fundraising officer at Great Ormond Street Hospital, said: “I would like to thank Crown Foundation for the cheque I received today which will buy five respiratory humidifiers which are greatly needed. On behalf of Great Ormond Street Hospital, thank you for your generosity today and your previous donations.”
